PURPOSE:To produce the titled molding which does not cause a high-frequency discordant frictional sound when rubbed against other objects, by depositing a specified treating agent on the surface of an expanded PP resin molding. CONSTITUTION:An aq. emulsion contg. at least one treating agent selected from among a higher fatty acid amide having a m.p. of 40 deg.C or above (e.g. stearamide), an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate content of 10wt% or below, wax (e.g. paraffin wax) and low-molecular PE having an MW of 8,000 or below, is applied to the surface of a molding obtd. by molding a PP resin (e.g. PP or an ethylene/propylene copolymer) foam having an expansion ratio of 15 or above, in such a quantity as to give a coating quantity of 0.05- 10g/m<2>. The molding is then heated at a temp. not lower than the m.p. of the treating agent to deposit the agent on the surface of the molding.
