摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a visible image having excellent observation image performance by forming of many photosensitive elements regularly arranged in two- dimensions and a fluorescent layer formed thereon, thereby reducing the radiation dosage emitted to an object to be sensed. CONSTITUTION:A radiation image detector is sequentially formed of a photosensitive elements 1, an insulating layer 2 and a fluorescent layer 3. The element 1 is, for example, formed of a photodiode 4 of a photoreceptor, and an MOSFET 5 of transfer unit. When radiation beam having strong and weak corresponding to the radiation transmission image of an object to be sensed is incident from below, the incident radiation is absorbed by the layer 3, and the fluorescent particles in the layer 3 emits a fluorescent light. Then, the fluorescent is photosensed by a photodiode 4 of the elements 1 of photodetecting members, and a signal charge is generated in the photodiode 4. In this manner, the intensity of the fluorescent light at the respective picture elements of the detector, i.e., the signal charge proportional to the intensity of the incident radiation is generated.
