PURPOSE:To attain to prevent the oscillation of a pointer when a stopper approaches, by prohibiting the impartment of a duty signal when an analogue signal value reaches reference voltage or less. CONSTITUTION:A pointer P displaces so as to make an indicating value small while moved minutely with the lowering in the running speed of a vehicle. When the analogue voltage of a frequency-voltage converter 60 becomes lower than the reference voltage from the resistor 72 of a prohibiting circuit 70, a comparator 73 generates a high level signal to bring a transistor 75 to a continuity state and the output terminal of a monostable multivibrator 30 is earthed to prohibit the impartment of each high level signal to a constant current circuit 50 from the multivibrator 30. Therefore, the transistors 51, 54 of the circuit 50 comes to a discontinuity state and the movable coil driving part of a meter main body M is held to a non-earthed state to stop the generation of intermittent driving force while the pointer P stops minute movement and displaces through the reception of the elastic action of the movable coil driving part to be engaged with a stopper and can be stopped.
