PURPOSE:The titled liposome that contains an organogermanium compound which can be transported into cells, because it can easily fuse with human hydrophobic cell membranes, thus being suitable for use as an antitumor agent, since the active ingredient can be released under control, without side-effects at all. CONSTITUTION:Lipid such as yolk lecithin is dissolved in an organic solvent and the resultant solution is mixed with an aqueous solution of an organogermanium compound of the formula (A, B and H, lower alkyl; X is hydroxyl, amino, -O-lower alkyl; Y is O, S) such as beta-caboxyethylgermanium sesquioxide and emulsified by means of a homogenizer to prepare a W/O emulsion them the emulsion is added to distilled water to form a complex emulsion of W/O/W type whereby the objective liposome containing an organogermanium compound is obtained.
