DISTRIBUTION TYPE FUEL-INJECTION PUMP

PURPOSE:To keep the amount of fuel to be injected constant even when fuel injection periods are varied by providing a timing detector to a part to convert the turning movement into reciprocal movement of the drive shaft of a fuel- injection pump, and also a signal generator to the drive shaft. CONSTITUTION:A timing detector 35 is integrally attached to a face cam 9 to convert turning movement to reciprocal movement of the drive shaft of a fuel- injection pump. A signal generator 36 to generate a signals to the timing detector 35 according to the relative positions with the timing detector 35 is provided to the drive shaft. Since signals from the timing detector 35 are biased by same phase even when the fuel injection periods are varied by operation of a fuel injection period regulation mechanism, the amount of fuel to be injected can thus be kept constant.
