Drying medium leaving the drying unit and contg. steam, fine dust and non-condensible gases is pressurised and passed through a heat exchanger. Fresh air is heated in this heat exchanger and the steam in the drying medium is condensed. The pre-heated fresh air is then passed to the fired heater. - Appts. is divided into two parts; part one comprising an exhauster fan condensate pipe and discharge pipe, and part two comprising fresh air fan, air supply pipe, heater and heat exchanger.
