PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent for extracting nucleic acid from a virus simply, quickly and highly efficiently, a method for extracting nucleic acid using the reagent, and a nucleic acid amplification method using the method.SOLUTION: A reagent for extracting the virus nucleic acid from a sample, which includes a virus having an envelope such as an influenza virus, uses extraction reagent containing at least water-soluble organic solvent such as dimethyl sulfoxide and sodium deoxycholate. Further, a method uses a first primer having a sequence complementary to a specific base sequence of the nucleic acid and a second primer homologous to a specific base sequence of the nucleic acid, and amplifies nucleic acid including the specific base sequence or a complementary sequence of the specific base sequence, by which the virus nucleic acid is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
