Disclosed are a method for adjusting power in wireless communication and a wireless access point device. The method for adjusting power in wireless communication comprises: a wireless access point determines an energy-saving load threshold of a first cell controlled by the wireless access point (110); and the wireless access point controls, according to the energy-saving load threshold, transmitting power of the first cell, the transmitting power of the first cell comprising transmitting power of a data channel (120). The method for adjusting power in wireless communication and the wireless access point device of embodiments of the present invention can adjust, according to a dynamic load change of a cell, transmitting power of the cell, thereby achieving distributed control over the transmitting power of each cell, and aiding in reducing the whole network power consumption and the interference between all network devices. |
