CIS-BICYCLO(3.3.0)OCTANE DERIVATIVES, MEDICINES CONTAINING THEM AND PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF THESE COMPOUNDS AND THESE MEDICINES

Cis-bicyclo[3.3.0]octane derivatives corresponding to the formula (I) wherein R1 is hydrogen, a lower alkyl group or a cation and wherein R2 represents a cyclohexyl or an adamantyl group. In these compounds the phenyl radical may be arranged with respect to the double bond in the EZ- or in the E-configuration and at the carbon atom bearing the group R2 the molecule may have the RS- or S-configuration. The compounds are prepared by reacting compounds of the formulae wherein R1 and R2 have the same meaning as above and R6 represents hydrogen or a protecting group. Medicaments containing these compounds act as inhibitors of blood platelet aggregation and (in higher doses) as blood pressure lowering agents.
