The invention relates to a locking device for the purpose of preventing unintentional tipping of a transport container, in particular a slag pot, which is mounted by means of trunnions in a bogie and can be tipped about the trunnions by means of a drive, the device consisting of an element projecting from at least one trunnion, perpendicularly to the axis of rotation in a manner dependent on the rotation of the trunnion and of a retention element, which is attached in a movable manner to a bogie and, under the action of a force-exerting element, arrests the projecting element in a predetermined position.
