PURPOSE:To improve filter effect and reduce pressure loss and oil leakage with a thickness of a filter portion reduced, by mounting a porous metal filter at an end of a speed increasing gear, and separating a fine oil content in gas by utilizing high speed rotation of the speed increasing gear. CONSTITUTION:A porous metal filter 8 is mounted at an end of a speed increasing gear 2. The porous metal filter 8 is rotated at high speed by rotation of the speed increasing gear 2 during operation. A large proportion of fine oil particles generated in a gear casing 3 is scattered outwardly during passing through the porous metal filter 8, and falls down in a pot 9, thus permitting gas only to be discharged out. In this way, a fine oil content contained in the gas may be separated with a simple structure, and a high performance filter effect may be obtained with low cost. Further, since a thickness of a filter portion may be reduced, pressure loss at this portion may be reduced to suppress pressure increase in the gear casing 3 and reduce oil leakage from a seal portion such as a shaft 4.
