PURPOSE:To dip the whole endoscope into wash water or an antiseptic solution and to use the endoscope immediately after washing and sterilization by forming a coupling means water-tightly holding an ocular part and a connector which are inhibited to be dipped into the solution. CONSTITUTION:The endoscope is used by combining it with an external device, a camera, etc. at the use of it. After the use, the 1st connector part 31 and the 2nd connector 32 are discharged until the discharge is stopped by a leading cap member 62 of the 1st connector part 31 and then a connector part 30 is butted and connected to the ocular part 2. The connection between the ocular part 2 and the connector part 30 makes it possible to prevent a connection space formed by the end surface part of the ocular part 2 and the end surface part of the connector part 30 from the inflow of the solution. Even if the whole device is dipped into wash water or the like under said connection state, the device can be washed without soaking an electrode part or the like, and immediately after the washing, the device can be used.
