PURPOSE:The titled tape having extremely low tack to materials to be bound such as raw vegetables, documents, etc., and high bond strength between adhesive faces, obtained by providing one face of a substrate with a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition layer prepared by blending elastomer with a specific amount of factice. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. elastomer containing (i) usually 50-80wt% styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer and (ii) usually 50-20wt% natural rubber is blended with (B) 20-40pts.wt. factice (e.g., one obtained by vulcanizing vegetable oil or fish oil with sulfur under heating, one vulcanizing vegetable oil with sulfur chloride at normal temperature, one obtained from fatty acid gylceride as a raw material, etc.), to give a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. A solution of the composition is applied to one side of a substrate, to give the desired tape having <=10g/10mm. width tack, and >=400g/10mm. width bond strength between adhesive faces.
