PURPOSE:To form a compact structure which not apt to flaw a recording medium still at the time of light exposure and by shifting a one dimentional scanning light source to the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A one dimentional scanning light source 5 is arranged to shift in the sub-scanning direction and the upper/lower directions to a recording medium by holding the recording medium 2 inside a cassette 1, and a roller 3 is arranged to move in the upper/lower directions in the adjacent of an end of the cassette 1 opposite to a developing part 7. The part 7 is arranged adjacent to the cassette 1. The medium 2 is exposed by moving the roller 3 upward, moving a light source 5 to the extent that the light emitting face contacts the medium 2, and moving it in the sub-scanning direction. When light exposure is completed, the medium 2 is sent out to the part 7 by moving the source 5 upward, moving the roller 3 downward so that it contacts the medium 2, and by rotating the roller 3.
