PURPOSE:To enable the stacking of not only 40-foot-wide containers but also over-40-foot-wide containers on a hatch cover, by fitting stacker plates in a swingable manner on a pair of pillars on a deck at both the sides of a hatch, and providing the stacker plates with supports for the 40-foot-wide containers and supports for the over-40-foot-wide containers. CONSTITUTION:A pair of pillars 12 are erected on a deck 1 at both the sides of a hatch 2. Stacker plates 13, which can be swung to either vertical positions or horizontal positions, are fitted on the facing sides of the pillars 12. Positioning cones for 40-foot-wide containers 4 and positioning cones for over-40-foot-wide containers 11 are provided on the tops of the stacker plates 13. As a result, not only the 40-foot-wide containers but also the over-40-foot-wide containers can be stacked on a hatch cover 3.
