PURPOSE:To accurately detect the moved quantity of a moving body in a delayed time of a detecting means, by combining the 1st and 2nd means with the detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A detecting means 31 outputs a detect signal when the prescribed part of a moving body which makes step movements comes to a prescribed position. The detection signal is given to the 2nd means 32. On the other hand, the 1st means 33 finds time interval data required for the step movement. Moreover, delayed time data existing until the detection signal is given from the detecting means 31 have been given to the 2nd means 32. The 2nd means finds the number of steps of the step movement of the moving body by going back to the past from the time when the means 32 receives the detect signal by the delayed time of the delayed time data, by referring to the time interval data from the 1st means 33. Therefore, the moved quantity of the moving body within a delayed time of the detecting means can be detected accurately.
