PURPOSE:To simplify a camera circuit without lowering the resolution and producing color mixing by continuously arranging three adjacent electrodes which are driven by clock pulses of three phases to constitute one set. CONSTITUTION:Signals sent by a vertical CCD shift register 2 are sent to a horizontal CCD shift register 10 under the same condition. In this case, signals of series A and B are inputted into two adjacent bits of the register 10 and also into two adjacent bits starting from the 2nd bit from the end of the first mentioned two adjacent bits. In this way, the order of the signal of the series A, the signal of the series B, and idle bits having no signal with 3 bits set as a set are repeatedly arranged at the register 10. The signals of the two series contained in adjacent bits are transferred toward an output circuit 4 by means of the operation of a double transmission mode.
