PURPOSE:To obtain titled composition with further improved water resistance and water repellency, by incorporating non-aqueous emulsion of acrylate-based synthetic resin in asphalt coating. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) an asphalt coating pref. in the form of asphalt solution or aqueous emulsion of asphalt with (B) non-aqueous emulsion of acrylate-based synthetic resin (pref. with petroleum- or alcohol-based medium).
