PURPOSE:To attain data transmission with high quality by eliminating a data with deficient decoding quality out of plural reception data in the same transmission data based on the likelihood function or the likelihood function difference calculated through the use of the known most likelihood decoding method at the reception side so as to apply majority decision in the remaining reception data. CONSTITUTION:A data is inputted from an input terminal at the transmission side, the data is applied with coding by the convolution coding or the like at a coder 1, modulated by frequencies of f1-f6 at a modulator 2 and transmitted at a transmitter 3. The signal is received by six kinds of frequencies (f1-f6) from a receiver 4 at the reception side, the separated signal is decoded at a most likelihood decoder 5 depending on the frequency slots of f1-f6, and the calculated data and the likelihood function LF or the likelihood function difference is inputted to a majority decision discriminator 6. The majority decision discriminator 6 selects high-high order five or three data with high quality, these data are subjected to majority decision and the result is outputted as a reception data. How many number of the high-order data with high quality are to be selected depend on the level of the calculated most likelihood function or function difference.
