PURPOSE:A specially shaped separator for cocoons which are being reeled is furnished in the silk yarn-reeling tank under the yarn-leading tube and a water- spraying tube is integrally set to the leading tube so that the water is sprayed to the separator, whereby the cocoons which is brought up from the bath because of their bad unwinding are allowed to fall down, thus preventing the leading tube from being clogged. CONSTITUTION:In the silk yarn-reeling tank 1, a separator for cocoons which are being reeled 17, which is composed of the cylinder 16 and the cone 15, is furnished beneath the yarn-leading tube 60 and simultaneously the water-spraying tube 66 is set integrally to the leading tube 60 so that water is pured toward the top of the cone 15. The yarn-leading tube 60 is reciprocated vertically by the arm 62 swung with the rotation of the motor 63 to give the cocoons being reeled fine shocks to help the yarn unwind. During the vibration, the water from the tube 66 reciprocating together with the leading tube 60 is sprayed to allow the cocoons brought up from the reeling bath, because of their bad unwinding, to fall down.
