PURPOSE:To execute a measurement of a product capacity of a transient time and a measurement of a liquid return quantity by deriving a phase time between distortion quantities having similar shape from a variation of the distortion quantity detected in two points, and deriving a refrigerant flow rate from this phase time and a distance between two points. CONSTITUTION:In an inlet pipe 1a of a compressor 1, pressure receiving plates 6, 6' hung and supported in the vertical direction against the center line of the pipe 1a are placed at a position separated by a prescribed distance L. In this state, in a transient time of the compressor 1, a dynamic pressure variation by an intense variation of a refrigerant wave return generated in the pipe 1a is detected as a large distortion quantity variation of the plates 6, 6', and a phase time between the maximum values and between the minimum values which are similar in these two distortion quantity variations is derived. Subsequently, by this phase time and the distance L between the plates 6, 6', a refrigerant flow rate is derived and displayed, therefore, a refrigerant flow rate of a two phase flow in the transient time of the compressor 1 can be measured exactly. |
