PURPOSE:To attain execution even if the operation code length of a machine instruction is limited by converting a machine instruction of a main storage section into a start address of a corresponding micro routine to start the micro routine of a control storage section. CONSTITUTION:An operation code of a machine instruction given from a main storage section is inputted to dispatch memories 41-4n in parallel and a start address corresponding to the operation code is outputted from the memories 41- 4n. The start address being an output of the memories 41-4n is inputted to a multiplexer 40b. On the other hand, since the multiplexer 40b is selected by the output of a mode register 40a, only the output of the memories 41-4n corresponding to the language set from the multiplexer 40b to the register 40a is outputted and given to a control storage section. Thus, the corresponding micro routine is started. Through the system, even if the operation code length of the machine instruction is limited, lots of machine instructions are executed by the micro routine.
