PURPOSE:To obtain the titled master batch by incorporating a polymer with powdery granulating agent along with swelling agent and additive followed by agitation to prevent the additive from degradation and loss during the manufacturing process to effect higher effective content for said additive. CONSTITUTION:The objective master batch can be obtained by incorporating (A) a powdery granulating agent (e.g. organic powder such as of polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, or inorganic filler such as talc, silica, clay) in (B) a composition comprising (i) polymer (pref. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer), (ii) swelling agent for said polymer and (iii) additive followed by agitation. The amounts to be used for the above components are as follows: (1) swelling agent...10-300(pref. 30-200)pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of said polymer, (2) granulating agent...5-200(pref. 10-100)pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of said composition, (3) additive...5-60wt%, based on the final master batch.
