PURPOSE:To enhance scum scrape-off capacity per one rotation of a disc, by providing a stopper, which inhibits a bottom plate from moving so as to go over each end part of a scrape-up plate in the circumferential direction, to the disc or the scrape-up plate. CONSTITUTION:Each bottom plate 12 is freely swigable not only in such a range that the free end 12' thereof is contacted with projections 14a, 14b provided to both end parts of each scrape-up plate 11 but also in the rotary direction of a disc 7 and received by the projection 14a provided to the end part, which is directed to the rotary direction, of the scrape-up plate 11 corresponding to the rotary direction of said disc 7 to enter a scum layer. Further, said bottom plate is pushed by scraped-up scum to be moved to the rotary direction opposite to that of the scrape-up plate 11 integrally rotated along with the disc 7 and received by the projection 14b provided to the opposite side end part to issue from the scum layer while scraping up scum. Subsequently, from a time when the disc 7 has been rotated almost half, scraped-up scum is poured in a discharge cylinder 6 and discharged in a discharge trough 3 provided along the side wall of a separation tank by a screw conveyor 5.
