SPLIT MOLD TYPE TIRE MOLD AND ITS PREPARATION

PURPOSE:To obtain a split type mold excellent in accuracy and low in cost, by respectively separately cutting a profile ring and a net ring without combining them and forming a plurality of tread parts by combining them. CONSTITUTION:A ring shaped profile part 6 having an inner peripheral surface to which at least a curved surface is formed by processing so as to correspond to the tread surface of a tire to be molded and a ring shaped net part 5 provided with ribs 8 and lugs 9 having a contact surface to be contacted with said inner peripheral surface of the profile part and forming the recessed part of the tire to be molded are manufactured. Next, a tread part, having such a state that the profile part 6 and the net part 5 are respectively split in a sector direction, is prepared in such a configuration that the net part is placed on the profile part. Subsequently, a plurality of tread parts are combined in a ring shape so as to connect respective corresponding cut surface 5-1 thereof to form a tire mold.
