PURPOSE:To perform calibration accurately and speedily over the entire measurement range by setting pressures for calibrating a specific pattern successively, and calculating the measurement error of the pressure measuring device continuously and automatically according to the pressure for calibration. CONSTITUTION:The calibrating device 31 applies a pressure to a pressure transmitter 7 through a servo valve 33 according to the specific variation pattern set by a pressure setting circuit 41. Simultaneously, an arithmetic circuit 37 inputs the measured pressure value through the pressure transmitter 7 at every preset calibration interval of time to calculate and print out the instrument error of the corresponding pressure transmitter 7. Then, an calibrating operator calibrates the pressure transmitter 7 on the basis of the instrument error data after the printing-out operation. |
