PURPOSE:To produce a device easily without constituting members requiring high-precision working and to reduce the production cost by pressing a sheet material from the back by the weight of a flexible retaining member to bring closely the sheet material into contact with a transparent plate. CONSTITUTION:A retaining member 31 has a sheet shape having flexibility and enough weight to bring closely a sheet material 30 into contact with a transparent plate 6, which is made hozirontal, from above by its own weight. It is proper that a rubber plate is used as the retaining member 31, and the most suitable thickness is determined experimentally in accordance with characteristics of the sheet material 30 to be brought into contact with the transparent plate 6. Slender aperture parts 32 are formed in two positions in the retaining member 31, and an attraction transfer means acts. Supporting bodies 33 and 34 as a pair of rigid bodies arranged above the transparent plate 6 stick both end parts of the retaining members 31 and are so operated that the overall surface is stretched above the transparent plate 6.
