PURPOSE:To eliminate deterioration in precision due to an arithmetic amplifier, etc., and improve the efficiency of measuring operation by cumulating a correction curve obtained by digitizing a diode detection output and calibrating a measurement system. CONSTITUTION:A switch part 24 selects standards 31a and 31b in calibration mode under the control of a control part 10 and supplies a test signal of designated frequency from a signal generating part 21 through an attenuator 22 and a measuring part 23. Its reflected wave voltage is sent out to a voltage measuring part 26 through a detection part 25 and converted into digital data, which is inputted to the 1st arithmetic part 12a. The 1st arithmetic part 12a generates a correction table containing this output signal an expected logical output signal and stores the table in a storage part 11. The 2nd arithmetic part 12b converts and processes the measurement signal obtained by applying the input signal to a body 2 to be measured which is mounted on the measurement part 23 to obtain and output a measurement result with high accuracy to a display output part 13.
