PURPOSE:To process conditional vector arithmetic at a high speed by providing a selector for selecting in following the contents of a vector mash either the contents of a vector element hold registor transferred most recently or a vector element succeeding said contents. CONSTITUTION:When execution is started, one of registor contents of a bector registor r3, scalar registor r4 (retain initial value), and a vector mask registor r2 which are designated by an R2 field and M field are selected respectively by selectors S2, S3, and S1. The contents of a vector element hold registor r6 and a hold registor r7 of the newest storage contents are transferred to a selector S5. The selector S5 is controlled by a vector mask hold registor r5. The output of the selector S5 is connected through a line l10 to another input part and a distributing part d1 of the selector S4. |
