The present invention relates to an arrangement for transferring heat between different liquid media, such as, for example, sludge, drainage water, industrial process water or the like, the heat transfer being designed to occur either between polluted media, or from a polluted medium to a clean medium, or vice-versa. The arrangement according to the invention is characterised by a combination in which a number of plane-parallel plates A are designed to be placed one on top of another and are mounted with intermediate channels B, constructed with variable dimensions and arranged parallel or in series, in which hot C or cold D medium is designed to be fed over the plates A, in which the flow of media C; D is accomplished by a cross-flow and counter-flow along the channels B, in which the transfer of the respective media C; D from one plate to another plate is accomplished by means of at least two boxes E, and in which detachably fitted straight or curved walls I of the channels B are clamped by a framework J, so that complete tightness is achieved. <IMAGE> |
