NEW MATERIAL:7-Isopropylamino-5-methyl-S-triazo[1,5-a]pyrimidine. USE:Having cardiac contraction action, heart rate increasing action and increasing action on blood stream of coronary vessel. A mild medicinal effect lasts a long period, and the titled compound has extremely low toxicity. PREPARATION:7-Chloro-5-methyl-S-triazo[1,5-a]pyrimidine is treated with isopropylamine, to give 7-isopropylamino-5-methyl-S-triazo[1,5-a]pyrimidine.
