PURPOSE:To provide a soil conditioner which can improve the physical properties of soil, elevates soil temp. to promote the growth of plants and can save labor required for the maintenance of lawns, consisting of particulate clinoptilolite colored with a pigment having a dark color including black color. CONSTITUTION:A soil conditioner is obtd. by coloring 100pts. particulate clinoptilolite with 0.5pts. pigment having a dart color including black color. Clinoptilolite has ion exchangeability and reversible dehydrating powder inherent to zeolite and these characteristics serve for fertilizer retention and water retention which are highly required for soil conditioner. By using the colorant having a dark color including black, solar heat can be well absorbed. The preferred color of the soil conditioner is green or black from the viewpoint of the harmony between the colors of the soil conditioner and a lawn. The soil conditioner can improve the physical properties of soil, elevates soil temp. to promote the growth of plants and can save labor required for the maintenance of lawns. |
