PURPOSE:To stabilize the output of a voltage-frequency converter, by providing a means having a hysteresis characteristic to an input current between the output current charging circuit of a voltage-ampere converting circuit and the signal line of a timer circuit. CONSTITUTION:A voltage-ampere converting circuit 1 outputs an electric current proportional to a voltage inputted in an input terminal 1A to an output terminal 1B and a charging and discharging circuit composed of a capacitor (C) 2 and resistance (R) 3 is connected to the output terminal 1B. One end of the C2 is earthed and the other end of the R3 is connected with the discharging terminal 4C of a timer circuit 4. The other end of the C2 is connected with the high and low potential detecting terminals 4A and 4B of the circuit 4 through NAND elements 5 and 6. The elements 5 and 6 are constituted by using Shmidt operation type complementary MOS integrated circuits and the two input terminals of the elements 5 and 6 are connected in common, and then, the output terminal of the element 5 is connecccted with the two input terminals of the element 6. Thus the elements 5 and 6 show a hysteresis characteristic as a whole. Therefore, a pulse signal of high frequency can be obtained at the output terminal 4B of the circuit 4 under highly stable conditions.
