PURPOSE:To keep the blowing efficiency of a blower good, by elastically supporting guide vanes fitted on an air guide provided around the suction fan of the blower, so that each guide vane extends in the direction of rotation of the suction fan and the relative angle between each guide vane and the fan is variable. CONSTITUTION:Plural guide vanes 20 are supported in a swingable manner at points 21 on an air guide 16 provided around a suction fan 11. Each guide vane 20 is made of an elastic material. Since the outer end of each guide vane 20 is free and it is elastic, the guide vane is turned inwards due to its elastic force when the quantity of sucked air is small. The angle of each guide vane 20 is thus altered depending on the quantity of the air so that the vane extends in the direction of the streamline of the air. For that reason, the effect of rectification of the air is enhanced so that the efficiency of blowing is kept high.
