PURPOSE:To enable selection of various discharging modes, by a method wherein, in a device which dries cereals as they are circulatingly conveyed from a drying chamber to a quality control chamber through a cereals elevating device, and an upper spiral convey conduit, a feed port and a discharge port are formed in said convey conduit, and a discharge spiral convey conduit is coupled thereto. CONSTITUTION:In a drying work, hot blast, generated by a burner, is caused to flow so as to flow across a drying chamber 16 formed by a draft net plate to dry cereals flowing down within the drying chamber 16. After the cereals after drying are conveyed to the above through operation of a lower spiral convey conduit 14 and a cereals elevating device 3, the cereals are discharged through a feed port 6 by means of an upper spiral convey conduit 4, and is returend as they are uniformly diffused in a quality control chamber 2 through the operation of a diffusing disc 22. When the cereals after drying are discharged through a discharge port 5, a control lever means is controlled, a switching valve 9 in a discharge funnel 23 is opened, and meanwhile, a switching valve 10 in an auxiliary discharge funnel 29 is closed. Further, when the cereals after drying is discharged through a discharge spiral convey conduit 8, the switching valve 9 is closed, and the switching valve 10 is opened. |
