发明名称 METALLIC-OXIDE MAGNETIC MATERIAL AND MAGNETIC FILM
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a material for a magnetic record medium having high recording sensitivity and excellent oxidation corrosion resistance and light-transmitting properties by constituting a magnetic film by a composite metallic-oxide magnetic material containing strontium oxide. CONSTITUTION:A metallic-oxide magnetic material is shown by a general formula. Where (x), (y) and (n) extend over 0<x<=0.8, 0<y<=0.4 and 5<=n<=6. For manufacture the metallic-oxide magnetic material, SrCO3, Fe2O3, ZnO and Ga2O3 are mixed and ground, and the ground mixture is baked at 1,000-1,100 deg.C. The baked mixture is ground, put into a mold with a proper shape, press-molded, and sintered at 1,200-1,400 deg.C, thus obtaining the metallic-oxide magnetic material. The magnetic material is used as a target, and attached on a substrate through vacuum deposition, sputtering, ion plating, etc. at a substrate temperature of 500-700 deg.C, and an optical magnetic record medium with a vertically magnetized magnetic film 2 is acquired on the substrate 1.
