PURPOSE:To exchange full bobbins for empty bobbins simultaneously only by operating a doffer alone, by setting a bobbin conveyor at the front side of an operation passageway in front of a stand of roving frame, laying a doffer of movable type at the end of the stand of the roving frame. CONSTITUTION:An operation passageway is set in front of a stand of roving frame, and the bobbin conveyor 17 such as a peg conveyor, etc. circulating in the longer direction of the stand is laid at the front side. The doffer 34 of the movable type is set at the end of the stand of the roving frame, and the doffer is equipped with the plural doffing arms 58A corresponding to the full bobbin 8 on the roving frame and the plural doffing arms 58B corresponding to the empty bobbins 5 on the conveyor, a device moving in front and in rear for making the doffing frames close and separate each other, the lifting device 55 moving vertically at the progress position, and a revolving device rotating 180 deg. at the retreat position. |
