PURPOSE:To eliminate rotary part at high speed and to reduce occurrence of trouble and to facilitate maintenance by converting a liquid material to powdery body by heating spherical electroconductive bodies heaped in a main body of a vessel by induction heating while rolling the spherical electroconductive bodies. CONSTITUTION:A liquid material 1 is fed to a pulverizing apparatus from a tank 2 and dropped from a liquid feeding port 14 to above spherical electroconductive bodies 7. The liquid material 1 is heated by the spherical electroconductive bodies, stirred with stirring blades 10, dried, and discharged in the form of powder 15 from a powder discharging port 16. Generated steam is discharged together with dehumidifying air sucked from an air feeding port 17 through an exhaust port 18, and is condensed and recovered in a condenser 19; the air is discharged through a dust remover 20. The spherical electroconductive bodies are heated by passing high frequency current from a high frequency generating device 13 through an induction heating coil 12.
