PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a derrick boom on the bow side by laying sailing wires at the top edge of the derrick boom, having a large elevation angle in the stern direction from the hull center position on a deck and extending a triangular canvas in the stern direction. CONSTITUTION:The boom 5 of a guyless type derrick apparatus D is fixed in the bow direction, having a large elevation angle, and sailing wires 14 are laid at the top edge of the boom 5, having a large elevation angle in the stern direction from the hull center position on a deck, and a canvas 16 having a nearly triangular form is extended in the stern direction. Therefore, also the derrick boom 5 installed on the bow side can be effectively utilized, and the canvas area is increased markedly, and a wind power can be received largely, and the fuel for propulsion can be economized. The canvas including a guy topping lift can be fixed in all directions by wires by extending cargo wires 7 and sailing wires 14 into triangular form, and stability is increased, and laying is facilitated with the superior balance.
