摘要 PURPOSE:To improve an enclosing property, and also to inject easily an electrolyte by providing an insulating molding body which has a hollow hole for injecting the electrolyte on a recessed part for containing an opposed pole provided in the shape of dot matrix and also passes through a pipe-shaped current collecting body functioning as a lead terminal of the opposed pole on a display electrode. CONSTITUTION:An electrochromic substance 3, a background body 6, an opposed pole 7 and an electrolyte 8 are provided between a transparent glass substrate 1 on which a display electrode 2 is formed, and an insulating forming body 4 in which a pipe-shaped current collecting body 5 is passed through a recessed part formed in the shape of dot matrix. As an insulating substance for producing the insulating forming body, for instance, glass, ceramics, etc. are used. On the lower end part of the opposed pole side substrate on which the opposed pole 7 and the background body 6 are provided, an adhesive agent 10 such as an epoxy resin, etc. is applied or printed and the electrochromic substance 3 of the display pole substrate and a recessed part 11 of the opposed pole side substrate are stuck so as to correspond to each other. Subsequently, the electrolyte which has adhered to the tip of the pipe-shaped current collecting body 5 of the element to which the electrolyte has been injected is removed, and sealing is executed by welding.
