PURPOSE:To fill uniformly and thoroughly powder into a tubular body and to produce the welded tubular body sealed the powder with high quality internally by controlling the feed rate of a powder feeder according to the change in the level of the accumulating surface of the powder in the tubular body. CONSTITUTION:The powder accumulating surface in a tubular body 10 is displayed on a display part 28 for a powder level and is at the same time recorded in a recorder 29 for powder level. When the powder accumulating surface is detected by a detector 11 for the upper limit position of the powder the detection signal is fed to an output processing circuit 27 from which a decrease signal is fed to a powder feeder control circuit 30. The feed rate of a powder feeder 8 is thereby so controlled as to decrease. When the powder accumulating surface is detected by a detector 12 for the lower limit position of the powder, the detection signal is fed to the circuit 27 from which an increase signal is fed to the circuit 30. The feed rate of the feeder 8 is thereby so controlled as to increase. The level of the powder accumulating surface in the body 10 is thus maintained always in the prescribed range. |
