PURPOSE:To prepare a hot and cold food having unique palatability, by pouring a hot semifluid food on ice-cream. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed amount of a semifluid food having a consistency to enable the mixing with ice-cream (e.g. chocolate, cream, bean jam, etc.) is heated to an extent to prevent the excessive melting of ice-cream and give a thermal feeling different from the feeling of ice-cream, and is poured on ice-cream to obtain a hot and cold food composed mainly of ice-cream. The food gives cold and hot feelings to the oral cavity, and the stimulation of the different temperature affords a unique palatability in combination with the characteristic taste of the food.
