A single phase winding system comprises basic windings (U1-U2 symmetrically V1-V2) distributed over the 3) tracks of a stator, and in the same winding operation additional windings (U2-U3/V2-V3) are produced. Since the two windings (I,II) are wound continuously without interruption, there are no extra connecting points. The windings system may be coupled so that a four-pole distribution system is provided which differs from normal skein stages. - If the remaining winding skeins (U2-U3/V2-V3) are connected for two-pole drive, a winding distribution is formed with a precisely normal skein stage. Thus, with series coupling, a correct four-pole magnetic field is obtained, and with parallel coupling, a correct field curve of the type which an authentic two-pole winding should give. |
