PURPOSE:To omit a motor and a pinch roller for discharging and to realize simple structure by providing a one-way clutch which rotates a discharge feed roller so as to discharge cut recording paper while the recording paper after being cut is returned from a cutting point toward a printing point, and carrying the recording paper in a discharge direction when the one-way clutch is in an idling or stand-by state. CONSTITUTION:When recording operation is completed, the recording paper 21 is fed at a point by a platen roller 22 and cut at the cutting point B of a cutter 23, and when the pulley 32 of the discharge feed roller 27 is rotated by a belt 30 through the reversing of a driving pulley 28 in the same direction, the one-way clutch 33 is engaged and the rotating shaft 31 of the discharge feed roller 27 rotates; and the recording paper 21 is sent as shown by an arrow (to the left of the paper surface) and an end of the recording paper 21 is pressed out, thus discharging the recording paper.
