摘要 PURPOSE:The titled optical material, consisting of a polyfluoroalkyl group- containing methacrylate polymer, etc. expressed by a specific structureal formula, and having characteristics, e.g. specific glass transition temperature and improved heat, resistance, low refractive index, low dispersibility, etc. CONSTITUTION:An optical material obtained by polymerizing one or more polyfluoroalkyl group-containing methacrylates expressed by formula I (Rf<1>, Rf<2> and Rf<3> are polyfluoroalkyl; the total number of carbon atoms in Rf<1>, Rf<2> and Rf<3> is >=4), e.g. the compound expressed by formula II (m is 1-3), or copolymerizing the above-mentioned polyfluoroalkyl group-containing methacrylates with an alkyl methacrylate, e.g. methyl methacrylate, to give a (co)polymer having >=50 deg.C glass transition temperature. USE:Plastic based optical fibers, plastic lenses, etc.
