PURPOSE:To permit automatic chamfering and improve working accuracy by chamfering the work pushed into between a guide and grindstones from a guide board by a pusher, by the grindstones which move vertically along a template having the symmetrical form to the work. CONSTITUTION:A pusher 5 pushes the work 2 shifted in x direction on a tilted guide base 1 into between a guide 7 and grindstones 12 and 12a by the transfer of a rod 4 in Y direction through the drive of a cylinder 3. Also a template 6 shifts simultaneously with the work 2, and since a guide roller 11 moves up and down along the template 6 having the symmetrical form to the work, the both edge surfaces can be chamferred by the grindstones 12 and 12a revolved by the drive of motors 8 and 8a. After the working, the cylinder 3 returns the pusher 5 and the template 6 to the original positions by returning the rod 4 to the original position. Further, since the shafts of grindstones 12 and 12a can be shifted vertically, the both edge surfaces of several kinds of workpieces can be chamferred by the grindstone having a kind of dimension.
