PURPOSE:To prevent damage of raw fishes without giving impact to each screen frame and minimize the working space, by supporting the screen frame carrying raw fishes sprinkled thereon horizontal above a transfer conveyor, and placing the screen frame just under the bottom of the other from below. CONSTITUTION:Each screen frame (a) fed to a transfer conveyor 4 at a given interval is sprinkled-supplied with raw fishes by a rotary feeder, sprinkled with water in a washing water area, and advanced on a rising and lowering frame 16, and the advance is stopped when the tip thereof arrives at stoppers 23 and 23. Thus, the screen frame is in the slip state on the transfer conveyor 4. A speed reduction motor 17 is then driven through an electric circuit provided in the stoppers 23 to raise the rising and lowering frame 16. Thus, the screen frame (a) in the horizontal state is pushed up and held at the position (a') on receiving fingers 21..., and then the frame 16 is lowered. Thus, the next screen frame (a) is fed, stopped by the stoppers 23, pushed up by the rising and lowering lever 16, placed just under the bottom of the already positioned screen frame (a), raised together therewith, and supported on the receiving fingers 21....
