PURPOSE:To simplify a mechanism forming carrying routes of transmission originals and recording paper and to simplify the production of a facsimile device together with improvement of reliability, by attaining partially the common use between both carrying routes. CONSTITUTION:A read/record/paper feed roller 1 is supported freely rotatably within the main body of a facsimile device, and the upper end part of a heat- sensitive recording head 2 is supported rotatably at a place near the roller 1 together with a heat generating part 2a set to the side face at a place near the lower end of the head 2. A spring 3 is put between the main body of the facsimile device and the head 2 and energizes the head 2 to press a transmission original 4 to the part 2a with the roller 1. Then an original board 6 is set on the upper surface side of the main body with inclination, and a paper feed roller 7 is supported freely rotatably at a place near the lower end of the board 6. At the same time, the end part of a separator 28 is supported rotatably. While a paper barrel 5a of the heat-sensitive recording paper 5 is supported freely rotatably in the main body of the facsimile device. Then the carrying routes of the original 4 and the paper 5 are partially used in common with each other, thus the mechanism of both routes is simplified.
