PURPOSE:To effect the rationalization of the intermediate transfer of a cotton candy and the remarkable improvement of the productivity, by completely automating the feed of the cotton candy to a cutting apparatus and the transfer of the cut cotton candy to the subsequent packaging apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The prepared cotton candy is transferred successively by the feeding apparatus having a pair of vertically arranged belt conveyors 1, 3, and is cut to a prescribed size by the cutting apparatuses 8, 9. The cut cotton candy is taken up with a pair of vertically arranged belt conveyors 10, 11, and transferred to the feed conveyor C of a packaging apparatus. The transfer and delivery of the cotton candy before and after the cutting apparatus can be fully automated by this mechanism, and the production efficiency including the rationalization of the intermediate transfer can be improved remarkably.
