发明名称 DETECTING DEVICE FOR POSITION OF CRANK SHAFT OF ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the detection of a plurality of information on the positions of a crank shaft, by giving irregularity to a part of a plurality of regular forms in the peripheral edge portion of a magnetic rotor wherefrom signals are generated. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 2 generates signals of the figure B from grooves L1- L8 formed in the peripheral portion of a rotor 1 and inputs same to positive and negative voltage detecting circuits 4 and 5. The circuit 4 delivers a pulse signal 14 in response to a rise in a positive voltage pulse 8, while the circuit 5 delivers a pulse signal 15 in response to falls of negative voltage pulses 10 and 13. An ignition control circuit 6 counts the signals 14 and 15, while counting 1 at the respective fall edges of these signals by means of another counter circuit provided therein. When the count value of the other counter circuit is 1 while one counter circuit operates for counting, the other counter circuit alone is reset, and when said count value is 2, both of the counter circuits are reset. By this operation, eight positions of a crank shaft from T1 through T8 can be detected according to count values of one counter circuit which are varied sequentially from 0-7.
